  4. Use the Export Document command from the File menu to export the current document (Header + Body + Footer) to a text file.

  6. The Import/Export Preferences allow you to set the application creator for the exported text files to TeachText, BBEdit, MacWrite, or MS Word, as well as specify which translation options should occur on export. Note the order of translation:

  8. The order of export translation is:
  9.  
  10.   1. insert the associated header/footer/document
  11.      wherever its custom entity occurs in the document.
  12.   2. translate date/time entities
  13.   3. translate using the Export Conversion table
  14.  
  15. assuming that the checkbox option for each is turned on.

  17. Back to File menu, or return to Contents.
